This is my 5th Birthday Party and Dwight is on the far right. We were best friends as children and our houses were back to back, so we would climb the fence and were pretty much joined at the hip. I have the best childhood memories with this group. Dwight's brother Bob Boggs ('60 class), is standing on the right with the white shirt. Dona Chauvie Sidebottom (SGHS 65) is sitting next to me on the left, and my brother, Ron Patterson ('60). Back when times were much more simple.
Again, there are Me and Dwight, lower right.... joined at the hip, I tell ya.... He was such a wonderful friend and will never be forgotten.... R.I.P. Dwight
Hi Peggy, thanks for letting Laurie Pennington Boggs know.... I have now connected with her on Facebook. I have the best childhood memories of such innocent little kid friends with him. No kidding, we were joined at the hip!! My Mom would have to call Arlene (his Mom) and ask if he could eat with us or stay longer, and vice versa! LOL We would dress up in cowboy outfits and we were the smallest, so we were always thrown in jail, but heck we did not care, as long as the big kids let us play too! LOL In the photo above his brother Bob is right behind Dwight and my Bro, Ron... is the one standing with the Cub Scout uniform on.

Dwight died in 1999 at the age of 52 from brain cancer. You will be missed.

Dwight was my brother-in-law, my sister's husband. He was a wonderful family man and was loved by everyone who knew him. I still miss him :(
