Michael Gene Crissman

Michael Gene Crissman, 61 of Idaho Falls, died Sunday, September 2, 2007, at the Pinebrook Assisted Living Center in Idaho Falls.

He was born on July 16, 1946, at Inglewood, California, the son of Eugene Allen and Collenn Adele Crissman. 

Michael lived and attended school in South Gate, California and attended California College where he received a Business and Accounting degrees. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married JoAnn Goodson Eck on April 27, 1986. He retired as the Orange County Tree Supervisor and moved to Rigby were he owned a bar and worked for the Jefferson County Road and Bridge Division. 

He was a member of the pool league where he served as the secretary. He loved boating, golf, gambling, playing pool, racing and reading. He was a great son, husband, friend and father. 

Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Crissman of Idaho Falls; a daughter, Jessica Crissman of Idaho Falls; a son, Michael EJ Crissman of Idaho Falls; three step-sons, Jeremy Eck and Aaron Eck of Idaho Falls, and Zach Eck of Rock Spring, Wyoming; a step-daughter, Angel Eck of Denver, Colorado; two sisters, Martha Crissman, and Chirs Blaney all of Las Vegas, Nevada; a brother, Bob (Elaine) Crissman of Abelanto, California; and two grandsons, Marcus Jacobe and Drevan Crissman both of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Marv Eld, officiating.
