Tommy was one of the kids from South Gate that is part of my earliest memories. We went to Stanford Ave together from kindergarten and on to jr & sr high school. He was one of the sweetest and kindest guys in the world. As I recall he had a pet duck that used to follow him everywhere when allowed (not to school.) He used to come over to our house to play and the duck would follow. Even our dog, Suzie, didn't mind the duck and she was very particular about who she would allow in the yard. So, the duck must have learned her manners from Tommy. I had so looked forward to seeing him at the reunion. I will always remember him as a sweetheart and hope that he had a happy life.
Thanks Candy. Tommy was such a nice guy. We on the west side of S G will not forget him. I remember after high school Tommy was attending ELAC but was playing in the SC Trojan band. He was just a great guy.
