Charles Villard

Charles Villard

It is with a heavy heart that I make this posting.  We lost Charles today - May 25, 2014.  He died of cancer.  Our deepest sympathy, thought and prayers are with his wife Merideth Ayers Villard and his twin brother John.

Frank and I spent all of our school years with Charles and John as well as Merideth.  It began at Bryson Avenue.  He was a wonderful guy always kind and had a smile on his face.  He will be missed and has left us too soon.

So very sorry to hear of Charlie's passing.  He was such a sweet & friendly guy.   He was very kind and thoughtful of everyone.  I know his passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of all who loved him.

I can't believe this has happened.   I knew both Charles and Merideth and loved them both.   I'm hoping we'll be able to see Merideth at the reunion.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news about Charles and extend my sincere sympathy to John and their family.   A huge loss for the family.  So sad.

I'm deeply sadden by this news. I can still see him clearly...sitting in Mrs. Johnson's second grade class at Standford Elementry School. For my part, he was a dear friend. Charlie and John played very special role in my early life, organizing a car-wash to raise the "Knight's" scholarship fund, which paid for books and fees my first year at LBSC. ♥

I was so blessed to have him as a brother. I will miss him until the end of my days.

I shall never forget the Villard twins! They were definitely two bright lights shining throughout my high school years. Charlie and Merrideth were so happy and in love that summer we had all just started Long Beach State. Several of us met at a park one day and Merrideth was walking a big, shaggy dog...only I think it was more like it was walking her. Dear friends, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your many happy memories will bring you comfort and peace.
